Ice Day! (2nd attempt)

I typed "Ice Day" and hit enter and it posted! So here is my second attempt. Maybe I have had too much coffee this morning. Anyway, yesterday we had ice-hardly any snow, but schools shut down around here. The kiddos were thrilled. I would post pictures of the beautiful ice, but it wasn't even pretty. So these are pictures of the last snow we had.

Happy Birthday David!

Tomorrow is David's 11th birthday. Since Todd and the boys were out of school, we celebrated today. We went to Cheeburger Cheeburger for lunch. Hannah went and played at our friends, the Mayhews. It is her favorite place to play! So it was just the six of us. We had wonderful, yummy burgers. The onion rings were simply the BEST! And then there were the milkshakes!!!! I don't think I will be hungry again till Wednesday!!! After lunch, Todd took David to DC hoping to catch an IMAX movie. But they didn't get there in time. So they have rescheduled for another day. They had fun anyway. We did presents and dessert when they got home.

Happy Birthday David! You are an incredible blessing to our family and we all love you very much.

Valentines Day 2008

When I woke up on Thursday morning, I walked into the kitchen and found these beautiful miniature roses on the table from my wonderful husband. Later in the day, Rachel and I made and decorated cookies for the boys and Todd. After I picked up the kids from school, we came home and they took cut out hearts and wrote reasons they love their dad. We taped them up on the sliding door so he saw them as soon as he got home. He loved it!
